The position requires a Bachelors degree in Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related field of study and two 2 years of experience in the position offered or in a laboratory or scientific research role. The position requires two 2 years of experience with the following skills experience with general documentation practices and good manufacturing GMP compliance with data entry forms, with specific attention to details; working knowledge of and practical experience with good laboratory practices GLP in a microbiology lab environment; experience with microbiology techniques, including Gram staining, isolation plating, media preparation, and microorganism identification methods; experience with common microbiology lab instrumentation, including autoclaves, air samplers, light microscope, biohazard cabinets, and water purification system; and experience with basic lab safety, biohazard, and chemical waste disposal practices. The position also requires one 1 year of experience with the following hands on experience with basic lab equipment, including pH, balances, water baths, and other equipment common to microbiology methods. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training. Experience may be gained concurrently. Foreign degree equivalent accepted.
