This position requires a Bachelors degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study and four 4 years of experience in the job offered or four 4 years of experience as an Investment Grade Finance Analyst, Debt Capital Markets Analyst, or related occupation.br This position requires four 4 year of experience with the following skills and technologies US fixed income and equity financial securities markets including preferred stock market, corporate hybrid capital market, bank capital market, and retail fixed income market; secondary credit markets, trading fundamentals and impact on issues ability to access capital in the market; tax laws related to structuring preferred stock and hybrid capital securities to achieve tax treatment objectives for issuers; Moodys, SP, and Fitch rating agency treatment of capital products; balance sheet metrics; evaluating how preferred stock and hybrid capital securities can be structured to achieve partial equity treatment under rating agency leverage metrics; GAAP and IRFS accounting standards related to treatment of the fixed income and equity financial securities; bond math and securities pricing of hybrid and preferred capital securities including institutional markets and retail markets; analyzing how each market prices fixed income securities, including preferred stock, hybrid capital and senior unsecured bonds; modeling issuers balance sheets and potential hybrid capital needs by performing data analysis from public sources and tools including Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, company filings, and Microsoft Excel; creating pitch materials detailing preferred stock and hybrid capital market updates; identifying structuring issues for clients to consider around rating agency treatment, tax treatment, and optimal pricing; providing retail fixed income market updates; and advising clients on methods of raising capital. This position requires 20 domestic travel.
