Must possess a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field and 4 years experience working with mechanical and electrical components of hydroelectric machines; setup, calibration and operation of test equipment utilized for mechanical and electrical testing of hydroelectric machines; mechanical experience working with large rotating equipment. Must possess 1 year of experience working with the following generator tests Megger, Polarization Index PI, Noload saturation curve, shortcircuit saturation, telephone influence factor, waveform and deviation factor, heat runs, load rejections, excitation offline and online tuning, and Generator Efficiency. Up to 80 domestic or international travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
