Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field plus five 5 years of progressively responsible, postbaccaulaureate experience in advanced data analytics. Must have experience inwith developing generalized linear models in a commercial lines setting including loss ratio, frequencyseverity, pure premium and claims to model; converting analyticsbased insights into realworld business implementations; and leading endtoend predictive model implementations for both underwriting and claims analytics models; machine learning models using R, Python and SQL. Must have experience working in cloud environment; data modeling skills and data visualization software skills such as Qlikview and Power BI. Must have demonstrable ability to work in multidisciplinary teams involving modeling, IT and underwriting or claims professionals to design implementation plans for advanced analytics tools. Must have detailed understanding of statistical theory, predictive modeling and data mining. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to people across the organization.
