Must have four 4 years of experience with building various financial models and using them to analyze companies; calculating historical ratios metrics for the business, such as margins, growth rates, asset turnover ratio, and inventory changes; making assumptions about future margins, growth rates, asset turnover, inventory changes, and capital structure based on deep understanding of industry fundamental; building valuation models using DCF, relative valuation, sum of the parts, and LBO; running sensitivity analysis to test different scenarios; and running statistical analysis including using regression to cross check the correlation of valuations in different equities. Must have two 2 years of experience with conducting fundamental research on publicly traded healthcare companies to analyze factors such as industry competitive landscape, business model, quality of the business, growth outlook, quarterly earnings, and business risks; conducting due diligence through sourcing healthcare industry experts, surveys, interviews, and various channel checks to evaluate industry trends; interacting with management team CEOs, CFOs, IRs of publicly traded companies in healthcare industry; and using financial databases e.g. Factset, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters or other data mining software to track and digest top financial news and company data. Must have one 1 year of experience with macro and alternative healthcare databases and applying statistical tools to monitor industry dynamics and identify key driverscatalysts; using World Bank, WHO, IQVIA, Price Rx database to monitor drug pricing and healthcare utilization trends; using Stata programming, VBA or macro functions in excel to analyze new data sources, build out dashboards, create methodology of incorporating and utilization the data; applying macroeconomic concepts and health policy updates to pressure test current views and evaluate impact to individual companies; and synthesizing insights from analysis, and preparing drafts for review with other team members.
