Interagency Language Roundtable ILR Skill Level 4 or above in at least one language other than English, IRL 3 or above in English. These scales are used by the US government, which is a majority of ICAs client base. 32 CFR 251.3. The position of Student Services Admissions Manager has a bilingualmultilingual requirement as this position is a forwardfacing position designed to serve potential students who want to become bilingual or multilingual. The Student Services Admissions Manager, as well as all other studentfacing positions, must have an understanding of the process and difficulties associated with becoming fully proficient in another language other than their native language. The Student Services Admissions Manager guides prospective students on the focus, duration, and schedule of their courses designed to best meet the students goals. No specific second language is required only that there be demonstrated evidence that proficiency has been achieved in more than one language. English must be at least one of the languages as it is the language in which we conduct business. The skill that this position requires is the ability to learn a new language through the experience of learning a new language.
