This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education andor experience determined to be the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Must also have experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following Experience designing and developing new product; Experience with design and analytical tools and discipline to design as per customer specifications, including DFMEA, DVPR, FEA analysis, DOEs, DFA, DFM, etc.; Experience in the project lifecycle, including managing and leading prototype builds, testing, and validation of new and improved product or product features; Experience with ComputerAided Design CAD in SolidWorks, 2D drawings, 3D modeling, and simulation; CAD automation, product configurator using software such as DriveWorks to customize order specs, and automate manufacturing parts, assemblies, drawings, and bill of materials; and Experience with GDT, stackup analysis, and understanding of build to order using standard design templates and family configurations.Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Background check and drug test required.
