Qualified applicants will have a Bachelors degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience with Passive Electronic Components. Experience must include manufacture of ceramic based circuit protection or related components; an understanding of the function of ceramic based circuit protection components such as varistors, NTC Thermistors, PTC Thermistors, and gas discharge tubes; Lotus Notes and SAP; experience regarding automotive quality systems and the Automotive Industry Action Group AIAG Core Tools; experience with making circuit protection recommendations for various applications such as industrial, automotive and consumer electronics with respect to protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature conditions; experience with the global supply chain from designin companies as end customers to the international electronics contract manufacturers ECMs who build for them; experience regarding the major competing manufacturers for ceramic based circuit protection, the products that they offer, and the markets that they generally serve; market knowledge with respect to size and manufacturers share for various circuit protection market segments, including industrial, automotive and consumer electronics. Up to 25 of domestic and international travel required.
