Specific Skills

This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Financial Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years related experience conducting empirical research in equities with large financial datasets. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 applying inferential statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict future stock market return; 2 applying AI Natural Language Processing algorithms to analyze the sentiment of financial statements; 3 conducting extensive statisticeconometric modeling and backtests; 4 researching and constructing the portfolio optimization including volatility weighting, minimum variance weighting, PCA and risk parity; and 5 utilizing the following tools and technologies Compustat, Worldscope, IBES, Market QA, Factset, Barra Risk Model data, SAS, MATLAB, R CC, Fortran. Netezza, SQL Server, DB2, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program.
