Specific Skills

Laborers must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Standard bags of mulch, topsoil, and fertilizer weigh 50 pounds. Workers must be able to lift, cut open, and dump these bags. Equipment, such as mowers, edgers, and weedeaters, are heavy and require constant movement.br Employees must be able to handle and move objects using their hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Employees must be able to perform general physical activities that require considerable use of their arms, legs, and moving the whole body, such as lifting, balancing, climbing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Some OT and weekends required. Employees will be transported free of charge from the worksite to various commercial and private properties daily located in and around St. Tammany parish. They will be returned to the worksite at the end of the work day.
