Doctor of Medicine Degree or foreign equivalent, plus 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Surgeon.br br All required experience must have included performing at least 50 reconstructive aortic root surgeries per year including Ross procedures, aortic valve repairs, and valvesparing root surgeries; developing comprehensive program for the management of aortic diseases; conducting clinical research focused on diseases of the aortic valve and aorta; publishing research in leading peerreviewed publications such as The Lancet, JACC or JAMA Cardiology; and presenting in national and international conferences in the field of cardiothoracic and aortic surgery.br br Must be eligible for Medical License with NY State Board of Medicine. Must be board certified in thoracic or cardiac surgery by American Board of Thoracic Surgery or comparable organization.br br Primary worksite is 1190 Fifth Avenue, NY, NY 10029, but may work occasionally at 1111 Amsterdam Avenue, NY, NY 10025.br br Alien obtained Medical License from NY State Board of Medicine on December 4, 2019. Alien was board certified in cardiac surgery by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada on June 30, 2006.
