The position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, controls engineering, chemical engineering or a related field and 8 years of progressively responsible postbachelors degree engineering experience or field experience with gas turbines. The position also requires 8 years of experience acting as the single owning focal point for conversion, modification, and uprate project engineering execution for assigned heavy duty gas turbine projects; 8 years of project leadership experience managing engineering functions from project initiation through task completion and scopeschedule changes; 8 years of experience placing demands for hardware in fulfillment PLM product life management systems as definition is complete and updating the engineering required task, instructions, and due dates accordingly as project scope and timing changes during projects lifecycles; 8 years of experience coordinating preinstallation activities with design and field engineering to ensure the documentation and communication regarding scope and execution plans of the project are well understood; 8 years of experience managing and delegating requests to resolve issues that occur during project installation and returntoservice activities; 8 years of experience developing and influencing others in process improvements with demonstrated results, including directive development which results in documented procedures and delivering training sessions to a broad global team.
