Position requires a Bachelor#x19;s degree, or foreign equivalent, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered, or as an Immigration Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar position in a U.S. immigration law firm or a U.S. immigration nonprofit. Specific experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following preparing and filing familybased immigration applications and petitions, Naturalization, DACA, Uvisa, VAWA, and waivers; assisting immigrants in getting matriculas consulares, passports, noncriminal background letters, emergency travel documents, and birth certificates; acting as a liaison between US government agencies USCIS, NVC, DOS, CBP, ICE, BIA, etc. and immigrants; leading projects, including managing deadlines and priorities; and investigating facts of cases and searching public records and internet sources to prepare immigration cases. Must also have experience with each of the following billing through QuickBooks; working with clients from various countries, cultures, and backgrounds; and handling a highvolume caseload, at least 75 ongoing cases at any given time, while managing deadlines and priorities. Option to work remotely is available.
