This position requires a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related and 3 years of work experience in building systems and energy use including performing utility baseline analysis, conducting site surveys, and calculating energy savings for energy conservation measures using both whole building simulation and standalone calculation approaches OR a Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, or related and 5 years of progressive work experience in building systems and energy use including performing utility baseline analysis, conducting site surveys, and calculating energy savings for energy conservation measures using both whole building simulation and standalone calculation approaches. Must have work experience with 1 Performing energyuse baseline analysis, weather normalization, benchmarking analysis, utility rate simulations, and utility incentive research; 2 Performing preliminary and detailed project development audits of performance contracting projects including field investigation, understanding of mechanical and other building systems, data logger deployment and analysis, identification of energy conservation measures, data coordination with other team members, and participating in post site visit planning meetings; 3 Generating baseline energy models and perform energy savings calculations using hourly, whole building energy analysissimulation programs; 4 Performing standalone energy savings calculations for energy conservation measures that do not require whole building simulation; and 5 Preparing technical audit reports technical writing.
