The position requires, at a minimum, a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering, 3 years experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, and 3 years experience working with PLCs, fieldbuses, controls software engineering and functional testing, especially related to sortationconveyingpalletizing equipmenttechnologies; advanced machine control concepts, fundamental mathematical techniques, and programming of AllenBradley and Siemens PLCs related to sortationconveyingpalletizing equipmenttechnologies; modern machine control and hostsystem interfaces, both digitally and softwarebased; advanced test processes and procedures coupled with inhouse factory acceptance test; and safety system requirements, like Gates, EStop, etc. Applicants must also be willing to travel domestically and internationally for up to 20 of the work schedule, which may include repeated longterm 310 weeks assignments.
