Experience with Oracle database architecture, including Golden Gate, OEM, ASM, RAC, and Grid. Experience installing and upgrading Oracle database products. Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle Exadata appliances, including database version, operating system, cell server storage, networking, and Exadata firmware. Experience using Oracle data recovery products including DataGuard and RMAN. Experience restoring databases with data copies from one of the following products NetBackup, Commvault, or other thirdparty product. Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance on database objects by executing run stats, reorganizations, image copies, incremental copies, and full backup copies using Oracle commands and processes. Experience building, measuring, visualizing, and analyzing database metrics using Grafana and Graphite. Experience with at least one of the following OS versions and releases UNIX, Red Hat Linux, or CentOS Linux. Experience writing SQL queries and executing performance tuning by creating indexes, optimizing execution paths, and rewriting queries. Experience with Ansible, Concord, Python, and shell scripting to create automation for increased efficiency.
