Specific Skills

Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in designing electrical systems and equipment. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following creating, reading and analyzing engineering drawings; performing thermal, mechanical and electrical field calculations; communicating complex technical concepts in business terms through presentations and written reports; applying knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering concepts and relevant industry standards including ICEA, AEIC, IEC and IEEE to the design of highvoltage cable systems and equipment; and utilizing design and analysis software packages including Comsol Multiphysics, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Matlab and CYMCAP. Experience may be gained concurrently. In lieu of a Bachelors degree in stated field and 2 years of experience as stated, will accept a Masters degree in stated field and education, training or experience in all stated items. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training andor experience which would qualify an applicant for this position.
