Requires five 5 years design and fabrication of injection molded plastic parts including integration of stamped components; design and fabrication of aluminum diecast or extrusion molding parts and stamped components; design of electronic packaging to effectively manage heat, vibration, sealing and thermal cycle requirements; CAD programs such as Creo or Solidworks including ERP data management systems such as Enterprise, SAP or WISE; four 4 years automotive manufacturing engineering jointing technologies; pressfit pins insertion technology and process; laser welding for plastic applications; soldering, riveting, and dispensing liquid sealant using automated process; material reshaping such as Cold or Heat Staking, splicing e.g., crimping, and surfacemount technology SMD; mechanical designing and testing of automotive electronic transmission controllers; industrialization, including process, equipment, and product flow design, for quotes of new products; development of manufacturing processes to meet project targets for cost and timing for customer quotes; development of platform products to standardize components and processes for the whole product range of transmission control units; IQRM, DFMEA and creation of process flow charts and control plans; systematic problem solving including root cause analysis and corrective plan; leading the process and build requirements for prototype samples; and dimensioning of clearance and creepage distances and execution of insulation coordination reviews. Requires 1 US and 5 international travel for plant support.
