Prior work experience must include two 2 years with a Masters degree or five 5 years with a Bachelors degree with executing Commercial Real Estate debt financing transactions in excess of 500 million, including both securitization and balance sheet execution; building and utilizing models to price loans originated for CMBS securitization; utilizing interest rate and credit derivative instruments, including interest rate swaps, US treasuries, CMBX and credit default swaps, to manage the risk of positions on balance sheet; drafting and reviewing legal contracts for complex debt financing transactions, including loan documents, intercreditor and colender agreements; building financial models in Excel, including VBA, and applying valuation and return methodologies including DCF, Trade Comparables, and Return on Capital analysis; managing and coordinating multiple work streams with other investment banking professionals, external legal counsels and accountants to ensure smooth execution of deals; and structuring CMBS transactions in excess of 500 million, including modeling loan and bond cash flow in Excel and Intex, drafting and reviewing complex securities offerings documents. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required. Domestic Travel required 10 of time for client meetings and site visits.
