Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related quantitative discipline 2 years of experience in compressor and fan aerodynamic design or aeromechanical analysis. Alternatively, Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related quantitative discipline 4 years of experience in compressor and fan aerodynamic design or aeromechanical analysis also accepted. Prior experience must also include building and running aeromechanics simulations, including SC03 and AU3D; working with a variety of FEA codes including SC03 and AU3D; collecting and analyzing aeromechanicsrelated data, including strain gages and blade tip timing; utilizing programming skills; and determining root cause and corrective action.br br J.12 In addition to his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Miyakozawa also holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, awarded by Duke University in 2005, and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, awarded by the University of Maine in 2003.
