Qualified applicants will have a Masters degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a closely related field, and 2 years of statistical programming experience with SAS or R to solve statistical problems realworld databases in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or other healthcare industries. Experience must include authoring parts of or providing significant input in SAPs using large, realworld datasets; implementing the SAP using SAS or R; ensuring quality via validation; statistical programming methods as it relates to realworld evidence generation in epidemiology, healthservices research, and HEOR; experience defining appropriate comparator group using methods such as propensity score matching; experience with advanced methods such as marginal structure models and trajectory models; experience using machine learning methods including CART, random forest, gradient boosting, ridgeLASSOelastic net regression, SVM, ANN, CNN.
