Specific Skills
Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in the chemical specialty industry. Must possess 2 years of experience in proposing, designing, and implementing process safety concepts in the design of chemical processes or bioprocesses; and in project management including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning. Experience must include field coordination of piping; equipment and package units; developing equipment specification; ordering and expediting globally sourced equipment; initiating international process technology transfer; start up experience with international team; coordinating third part equipment supply; project and documentation control and timescheduling; design of equipment including ASME vessels, API tanks, Agitators, compressors, pastillators, glass lined reactors, reverses osmosis and filter press; process engineering deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams PFDs, Material and Energy Balances, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams PIDs, and Equipment Specifications. Up to 50 international and domestic travel is required.
