Position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, and two 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related IT occupation. Must have two 2 years experience with the following skills 1 developing, testing and integrating with RESTful APIs using appropriate network protocols such as HTTPS, Web Socket, and UDP; 2 development frameworks such as .NET.NET CORE, ASP.NET MVC and WebApi; 3 interface driven designs and dependency injection frameworks, as well as their implication on testing strategies and implementation of other design patterns; 4 Databases of relational and nonrelational natures to design and implement databases schemas and queries through appropriate application of normalization and de normalization of data; 5 building Automation System BAS domain, BAS network topologies and software components at each network layer, interfaces and communication between them using various network protocols including the industry standard BACnet; 6 designing and implementing the configuration, data storage, exchange, transformation and user interface of components in a BAS on a common software platform with different hardware configurations and implementation; 7 modern testing frameworks and best practices to design and author automated testing procedures at various architecture layers such as data access, API, and user interfaces; and, 8 modern source control tools and packaging options, build and deployment frameworks as well as their integrations to diagnose and trouble shoot issues during the build and deployment processes that involve software components of heterogeneous origin, multitiered and complex dependencies.
