Specific Skills

Applicant must have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management or Civil Engineering or its U.S. equivalent. Applicant must have at least 5 years of account management experience within the construction industry. Applicant must have experience in technical sales and strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction industry. Experience developing new business strategies; excellent sales skills such as presentation, negotiation, and closing skills necessary to attain sales goals and objectives; proven ability to negotiate and close a complex sale; ability to proactively develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with builders, developers, and major trade allies is required. Must also have demonstrated business skills including effective planning, prioritizing, and cost analysis of financial risks; ability to successfully implement sales and marketing plans; excellent communication skills including written and verbal, and ability to resolve customer service issues effectively and make sound business decisions. Demonstrated ability to develop and present information quickly and effectively; proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals while meeting increased levels of responsibility; strong research, analysis, sales knowledge and skills and an understanding of brand awareness in driving the sale; and ability to problemsolve, think analytically and have critical thinking skills. Knowledge of CRM software is also required.
