Requires a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent and 3 years of manufacturing process development experience. Also requires 3 years of experience in the following Creating, maintaining, and improvingupdating controlled technical documents such as printsdrawings, First Article Layout FAL, work instructions, engineeringprocess specifications, inspection procedures and criteria, risk documents pFMEAs, dFMEAs, visual aids, bill of materials and routers; supporting a wide variety of processing applications such as machining, extrusion, pultrusion, injection molding, compression molding etc.; establishing and improving process methods which meet performance and quality requirements and ability to communicate written and verbal direction and project plans with appropriate personnel from other departments; executing equipment qualification and process validation projects including MVP, IQ, OQ, PQ and PPQ; using control procedures, such as the change management system, nonconformance reports, engineering specifications, Corrective and Preventive Action CAPA, and work instructions; and using blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerance, understanding of product testing methods, and are able to use optical comparators and CMMs along with knowledge of using Minitab, Microsoft office suite and project. Requires 2 years of experience in the following CNC programming terminology and tooling design concepts; performingconducting MSA studies including creating protocol and report for both variable GRR and attribute GRR using statistical tools; and performing gap analysis, CAPAs and performing Qualify Record Search Analysis QRSA for variety of CAPAs.
