Specific Skills
Position requires a Bachelors degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field., followed by 5 years of progressively responsible advising multinational financial services and banking clients in a law firm setting. Experience must include a minimum of 3 years of experience with representing lending institutions, asset managers, and investment funds in complex debt finance and structured finance transactions, encompassing a multiplicity of asset classes within the securitization space generally; 3 years of experience with providing legal guidance for deal teams, including due diligence through closing; 3 years of experience with drafting and negotiating terms for the full range of structured finance transactions; 3 years of experience with coordinating with European, tax, and regulatory counsel on the structuring of structured financing transactions; and 3 years of experience with crossborder transactions in the United States and in the European Union, coordinating with local counsel in foreign jurisdictions regarding the provision of local law security documents, legal opinions, and corporate authorizations. Must be a member of the New York Bar or eligible to apply for admission to the New York Bar within one year of hire.
