TO CLARIFY, all the minimum requirements are as follows Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or economics. Must have passed the CIA exam or hold CIA certificate. In lieu of Bachelors Degree, employer will accept 3 or 4 year bachelors degree.br br EXPLANATION The Alien holds the CIA certificate.br br Note to H4, H8A and H8B There have been reports to the effect that a statement in H14 that a 3years bachelors degree is acceptable to the same extent as a 4years bachelors degree has been determined by some DOL analysts to be insufficient to establish the acceptability of a 3years bachelors degree requirement, unless the OTHER box has been checked in either H4 or H8A. So that the employers education level requirement is clear, it will accept either a 3years or 4years bachelors degree. It should also be noted that this is exactly how the requirement was spelled out in each of the recruitment steps. To avoid the kind of issue referred to above, out of an abundance of caution, the employer notes that the level of education required as set forth above has been accommodated to the format of ETA Form 9089 as follows H4 has been marked Bachelors, Other has been marked in H8A as an alternative level of education, and H8B should read in full 3years bachelors degree.br br Note to J11 and J19 The aliens Bachelors degree is a threeyear degree but as it is a Bachelors degree, that box has been marked in J11.
