Specific Skills

Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or in environmental regulatory affairs and compliance. In lieu of a Masters degree in stated field plus 3 years of experience as stated, will accept either 7 years of experience as stated or a Bachelors degree in stated field plus 5 years of experience as stated. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following working on U.S. and Canadian environmental regulatory affairs; performing risk assessments and environmental impact evaluations; liaising with government environmental regulatory agencies and NGOs; working with environmental management systems, performance indicators, data analysis and geographic information systems ArcGIS or similar; and, participating in environmental audits, environmental certification processes, project and budget planning and reclamation planning. Experience may be gained concurrently. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30 of working time. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training andor experience which would qualify an applicant for this position.
