Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. Requires a minimum of two 2 years of progressively responsible experience in residential and commercial building design, and construction including mechanicalelectricalplumbing systems. Experience must include Assisting teams with sustainability goal setting and assessing sustainable building measures in accordance with green building certification criteria such as LEED, HERS, ENERGY STAR, or Enterprise Green Communities along with Energy and Green Building Codes; Preparing documentation for sustainability programs and certification; Reviewing construction documents drawings, specifications and submittals, construction schedules to accurately determine building geometry, building envelope systems, electrical systems and mechanical systems, and constructability; using industryaccepted tools and calculators such as PVWatts, COMchek, or RESchek; Conducting on site construction inspections to evaluate field conditions and to confirm construction quality and compliance with sustainability programs including LEED, HERS, ENERGY STAR, or Enterprise Green Communities, as well as Energy and Green Building Codes. Requires LEED accredited professional or similar sustainability credential.
