Specific Skills

Must possess a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Wind Energy Engineering or related field, and 2 years of experience in aerodynamic design, modelling, and analysis of wind turbine airfoils and blades equipped with performanceenhancing addons, including vortex generators, flaps, and spoilers. Must have 2 years of experience in blade element momentum theory simulations with addons; CAD automation using NXOpen; meshing using ICEMCFD and ANSYS Meshing for external flow simulations; computational aerodynamic simulations for airfoils and rotating bodies; wind tunnel validation of airfoils with addons; and using programming languages MATLAB and Python. Up to 10 of international travel required. Parttime local telecommuting permitted.
