Must have six 6 years of experience with working in a law firm or corporation negotiating label, publisher or collecting society license agreements; international copyright law and legal issues relating to music publishing and label licensing, collective rights management, IP, media and digital products; partnering with global stakeholders within a legal team and working with external counsel; a wide range of commercial agreements including data sharing agreements, business development partnerships, global framework agreements, digital licenses and confidentiality agreements; and advising on music publishing ownership issues including fractional shares, issues related to the collection and searchability of ownership data and mechanical and performing rights splits.
