Requires a Bachelors degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or related or equivalent. Requires five 5 years of progressively responsible experience with hardware design engineering in the automotive industry. Requires five 5 years of experience with the following working in crossfunctional teams involved in technical problem solving; hardware circuit design and analysis using pSpice, Mathcad or Matlab, and worst case analysis techniques; design cost analysis and design optimization approaches; two 2 years; working on a motion control system in the automotive industry; Electric Power Steering hardware design and analysis; Electric Braking Systems hardware design and analysis; and working with configuration management tools for requirements such as DOORS and IMS. Requires having worked on at least two 2 projects that required Functional Safety in the automotive industry with standards for safetycritical systems such as ISO26262 and IEC61508. Requires 10 US and 10 international travel for demonstration support, training, workshops, and vehicle testing at test tracks.
