cont. from H.11 conduct postoccupancy review of clients use of space and site.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus 2 years of experience to include assisting with predesign and all phases of architectural design for small to large scale projects and various building type, including corporate commercial, industrial, research and development, laboratory, historic building, new construction, renovation, tenant improvement, parking garages, demolitionsite preparation, from schematic design and design development through construction documentation and construction administration, including modification to existing structural systems, space planning, custom detailing; researching zoning and building codes, building and finish materials; collecting data, and writing reports and presentations to incorporate research and date into architectural design; coordinating with and representing the firm to obtain approvals from clients and state and local agencies having jurisdiction over projects; performing sketches, rendering drawings, working drawings, architectural detail specifications for conceptual design presentations and presentation packages using Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Bluebeam Studio, and freehand sketching including pencil, ink, markers; assisting in preparing sketches, drawings for design competition or project bid proposal, and marketing; translating clients functional and spatial requirement for structures into feasible design solutions, incorporating structural engineering principles and building systems into architectural designs; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes, and site survey of existing conditions and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawing to solve technical issues of design in relation to sites, building structure, HVAC system, fire protection and materials for intricate detailing; performing site survey of existing conditions and as built measurements, and site analysis; performing space planning; incorporating custom detailing into design; preparing space plans to program a facility based on an analysis of client space needs; assisting in materials selection; translating clients functional and spatial requirements for structures into feasible design solutions; assisting in Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Schedule, including developing and detailing fixture packages and finish selection; coordinating with civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection MEPFP, lighting, landscape, code, traffic, parking, zoning, signage, acoustic, and structural consultants to incorporate engineering systems into unified design for client and agency review and approval; developing and producing construction documentation, including documenting architectural plans, elevations, and details; coordinating project data and transmission and all electronic communications using Newforma; maintaining log of RFIs and Submittal; assisting in reviewing all related shop drawings, submittals, samples and mock ups; coordinating with clients, contractors, and consultants to respond to requests for information RFIs; conducting site visits and progress meetings; preparing field observation reports, final inspections, punch lists.
