Experience must include eighteen months of performing tax research utilizing tax software and tools, including CorpTax, GoSystem, RIA CheckPoint, OneSource, BNA, and CCH; performing state taxation services, including state apportionments, modifications and state and local credits calculation, based on varying state regulations; mediating between client and state revenue department to resolve state tax notices, audit, and other taxrelated issuesinquiries; preparing complex tax technical memos, responding to Information Document Requests IDRs and various tax notices; providing income and franchise tax consulting, tax planning, state tax audit defense, and income tax accounting services for multistate companies; preparing and reviewing state incomefranchise tax extensions, quarterly estimates, K1s, and returns for passthrough entities and corporations based on varying state regulations for the apportionment of income and nexus creating activities; utilizing Bloomberg terminal and LexisNexis to research and solve complex tax issues; analyzing conflict state issues, including master limited partnerships, state audit provisions, multistate corporate conversions, and tax restructuring issues; preparing and filing withholding and composite returns for partnerships and limited liability companies in multistate jurisdictions; and researching and preparing technical memoranda models in accordance with IRC Sections 951A, 250, 965, 512a7, 382, 383, nexus, instant unity, apportionment, restructuring, and market sourcing studies in various state and city jurisdictions.
