New product development process and creation of design specifications for products made of engineering plastics and metals. 2. Defining and determining products feasibility and validation requirements. 3. Collaborating with molding, metal and electronic manufacturing suppliers on value creation projects. 4. Leading technical workshops and discussions targeted to identify cost drivers and best value creation levers. 5. Working with plastic injection molding, metal stamping, and machining processes and automation of product assemblies. 6. Utilizing engineering fundamentals, including mechanical properties, functional performances and manufacturing feasibilities of individual components and assemblies, to assess and establish engineering requirements enhancing product performance and quality. 7. Applying Geometric Dimensioning Tolerance GDT principles to define the design requirements, statistical process controls SPC to assess process capabilities and study gauge RR Repeatability and Reproducibility and Design of Experiments DOE to optimize the manufacturing processes. 8. Evaluating design features of new products and defining functional design requirements per customer needs. 9. Serving as Subject Matter Expert in design control for products. 10. Developing, characterizing, and implementing new manufacturing processes that improve manufacturing capability and costs. 11. Serving as a liaison between manufacturing sites, New Product Development NPD RD, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and corporatedivisional functions on facility, equipment, product, process validations, troubleshooting, and improvements. 12.
