Specific Skills

The position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in chemical engineering, energy science and engineering, polymer science, engineering or a related field. Must have the following skill set evidenced by coursework or prior work or research experience interpreting DSC Differential Scanning Calorimetry, FTIR Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and ATR Attenuated Total Reflectance data; interpreting data from gel and defect analysis utilizing optical microscopy; polymer structureproperty relationships; polymer extrusion; polymer degradation; and interpreting data from physical testing of polymers. Must be willing to travel up to 30 of the time. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience which would qualify an applicant for the position.
