Must have Masters degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field of study will accept foreign educational equivalent and 36 months of experience in the job offered of Structural Engineering Associate or in the alternate occupation of Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or related occupation, or any combination thereof. The 36 months of experience required must include 24 months of experience with each of the following leveraging Structural Finite Element Method FEM for building structure analysis and designs by incorporating overall lateral and gravity systems; utilizing topology optimization and other optimization processes to develop efficient structural systems within projectspecific constraints; drafting structural segments of projects with AutoCAD and Revit; conducting field and site inspections in order to facilitate construction process; and evaluating structural capacity of existing buildings and coordinating with clients and consultants to develop renovations that would minimize impact on existing structural systems.
