Specific Skills

Candidates must have an established research agenda aligned with a demonstrated ability to generate extramural funding. Particular areas of interest include financial and operational risk, consumer segmentation, financial economics, econometrics, time series, or market basket analysis. A record of peerreviewed publications and demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary, collaborative academic setting are essential. Ideal candidates will also have demonstrated success working with collaborators from outside academia. Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Data Science, Quantitative Analysis, Economics, Finance, a related field or its foreign equivalent. Ability to teach courses associated with data science and analytics. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Note that H.15 is not applicable, as the optional special recruitment regulations for university teachers 20 CFR 656.18 apply to this case and do not restrict a combination of occupations, and in any case this position is not a combination of occupations because there are not two distinct skills sets required to perform the duties.
