Masters degree in Management, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field 6 years of experience in information security or information assurance within a technology company or in higher education. Alternatively, Bachelors degree in Management, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a related fieldbr 8 years of experience in information security or information assurance within a technology company or in higher education also accepted. Prior experience must also include 5 years of software industry experience, including experience providing consulting and risk assurance oversight for technology and software products; 3 years working with institutions of higher education or K12 institutions in the areas of information security or governance, and risk, and compliance; 3 years supervising a team of information assurance professionals; 3 years managing security and compliance projects for regulated entities; 3 years leading a corporate information security risk management program, including preparing and delivering periodic updates to senior leadership; and 2 years of experience with the NIST Cyber Security Framework CSF including handson experience applying CSF concepts to improve the maturity of security programs.
