Specific Skills

Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field plus one year of retirement actuarial experience. Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following 1. Initiating and delivering actuarial projects focused on assessing the short and longterm costs of pension, retirement, and related benefits plans; 2. Collecting and analyzing data to perform annual valuations; 3. Utilizing calculations and actuarial assessments to project stochastic and deterministic longterm financial information for pension and postretirement plans; 4. Performing pension benefit calculations and utilizing actuarial software ProVal to perform pension valuations; 5. Performing nondiscrimination testing NDT for pension plans; 6. Preparing actuarial valuation reports and PBGC 4010, PBGC premium filings, and Schedule SB government filings and 7. Preparing PPArelated certifications and election letters for pension plans. Must have passed the following SOA or equivalent CAS actuarial exams Exam FM Financial Mathematics and Exam P Probability.
