Bachelors degree in design, fashion design, or fashion marketing and eight years of overall progressive experience in design. This experience must include three years of experience in the following 1 apply and perform design skills, including hand drawing sketching, hand illustrations, concept ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, and visual presentation development and layout, including using Adobe Illustrator; 2 garment construction; 3 leading complex initiatives and project teams to conceive and create new ideas, generate consensus, and work cooperatively; 4 preparing and presenting presentations for leadership, including meeting facilitation; 5 managing the endtoend design process; 6 global crossfunctional collaboration to determine product design needs and to finalize the product; 7 creating design strategy that follows the overall brand vision; 8 mentoring and coaching junior designers, including monitoring their performance; and 9 researching and interpreting design trends to create new innovations.
