Requires two 2 years sales experience in the coatings industry to include two 2 years with application experience in synthetic leather and technical textiles selecting the optimal materials based on appearance, feel, weight and sustainability; utilizing knowledge of the following application and market performance of different coatings; chemical structure and function for high performance coatings and polymers including urethane, acrylics, hybrid resin crosslinkers and process additives; Automotive, Apparel Accessories, Architectural Interior Design, Textiles, Industrial Applications, or Leisure Lifestyle industries; regulations surrounding restriction on hazardous materials in consumer products and manufacturing process; complex chemical interactions in development application of high performance coatings including properties of each material and providing the best solution from an environmental prospective; 2 years management of SAP database; interpreting numbers from financials; communicating with all levels of management; and assessing situations and devising solutions. MF 8am to 5 pm and hours outside scheduled work hours due to frequent travel. 5060 domestic and international travel to meet with customers to identify specific needs and provide technical expertise. All hires must submit to a drug screen and background check.
