Specific Skills

This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field and three 3 years of related experience OR a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field and 5 years related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 Leading a team in a manufacturing environment, spanning new product development and introduction, manufacturing management, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 8020 toolbox concepts; 2 Leading Operations development and readiness activities for New Product Development NPD projects from conception to commercialization through tollgate phases; 3 Manufacturing concepts including assembly line setup, labor time study, design for manufacturability and assembly, mistakeproofing, line layout, line balancing, and Kanban; 4 Leading quality management system QMS for new product launches including identifying critical components, drawing reviews, Production Part Approval Process PPAP approvals, incoming inspection of parts, and in line inspection of products.; 5 Developing documents per Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP such as Product Failure Modes and Effects Analysis PFMEA, Process Instructions, tools and equipment list, Control Plan, Critical to Quality book, and Training Records for multiple products; and implementing and validating process controls to effectively establish a robust, repeatable manufacturing process; and 6 Launching new products through disciplined execution of i production line and process conceptualization, development, and validation; ii supplier quality and part approval readiness; and iii developing and implementing manufacturing and quality documentation. All experience may be gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Masters program. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
