Experience must include five years of providing income and franchise tax consulting, tax planning, state tax audit defense, and income tax accounting services for multistate companies; utilizing tax research tools, including CCH, RIA Checkpoint, BNA, and LexisNexis, to research complex tax issues relating to tax law changes, regulations, or tax cases; utilizing tax preparation software, including Corptax, GoSystem, ProSystem, ONESOURCE, and SuperForm, to prepare and review corporate and partnership state and local tax returns; performing state taxation services, including state apportionments, modifications and state and local credits calculation, based on varying state regulations; designing and developing data analytics approaches and frameworks for large data sets; leveraging data wrangling technologies to provide state tax apportionment data to clients; reviewing partnership returns with fund flow through income; and performing review of private equity and hedge funds, including underlying income, withholding, and composite to calculate the state source income for funds. Position requires less than 10 travel.
