To be considered candidates must have a minimum of three years relevant industry experience or equivalent.br br Doctorate degrees in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field are required.br br Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication, along with excellent interpersonal skills. Applicants with an extensive practical laboratory and experimentation are highly desirable, and candidates with experience in more than one area of need will be reviewed favorably.br Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to public engagement through their teaching and service. Commitment to excellence in teaching and applied scholarship, based on the Boyer Model of scholarship at both the bachelors and masters levels. Proven excellence, or potential, in teaching, scholarship, and service. Final candidates are subject to criminal sex offender background checks. Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle check. Applicants must be able to teach at the bachelors and masters levels, including thesis supervision and laboratory instruction.
