In H.8A through C In lieu of a Masters degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field and 6 years of progressive experience in mechanical design. Experience must be in the medical device industry.br Work experience to include 1. Design and development of new Class III medical devices. 2. Performance testing of Class II or Class III medical devices for regulatory submissions. 3. Utilizing SolidWorks, ProE or Creo modeling software to model medical devices or components. 4. Executing and documenting protocols, procedures, data analysis and reports for conformance with FDA requirement for regulatory submission of medical devices. 5. Utilizing statistical methods and probability theory. 6. Working with Environmental Health and Safety guidelines. 7. Working with crossfunctional teams to perform and support design control activities and their crossfunctional implications. 8. Creating anatomic models based on clinical imaging for device design and simulation. 9. Participating in the design change development cycle. 10. Prototyping, testing, modifying and validating Class II or Class III implants and their delivery system catheters. 11.
