Specific Skills

The five 5 years of experience required in Section H must be related experience. Experience must include five 5 years of experience, which may be concurrent, with all of the following 1 Architecting and developing distributed, multitier enterprise software applications. Such software to have machine learning, data pipeline and analytics components. Relevant domains are as fraud, risk or recommendation systems. Distributed computing development experience must include Hadoop ecosystem and mapreduce algorithms. 2 Project management and experience leading software teams working on complex software and analytic deliverables. Mentoring of junior team members as they upskill and directing more senior team members to independently solve tasks. 3 Deploying enterprise software with significant analytics components into production environments. 4 Software testing and integration bestpractices including the following unit testing and continuous integration which must include each of the following Jenkins, Maven, jUnit, and Git and profiling to optimize performance for speed, memory, network bandwidth and costs. 5 Linux environment for software development and deployment. 6 Java software engineering in industry, including Java Enterprise Edition, using best practices in objectoriented design and testdriven development. 7 Development of web services and UIs using JavaScript and REST technology. Deployment of such web services using Apache Tomcat. 8 Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum with roles including Scrum Master. All experience may be gained concurrently and may have been gained before, during or after completion of the Masters Degree program.
