The experience, above and below, may be gained concurrently 5 years of experience performing clinical research related to cancer or another disease such as respiratory or endocrine disease including investigating signaling mechanisms and clinical biomarkers, and supporting the development of therapeutic treatments; 3 years of experience using molecular technologies including nextgeneration sequencing, microarrays, proteomics, PCR, or a combination thereof, from clinical samples e.g. cell line, blood or tissue samples and using such technologies to develop and identify biomarkers andor diagnostic markers; 3 years of experience working with bioinformatics andor statistical scientists to analyze complex data sets; 3 years of experience leading and managing external research collaborations with an industry or academic partner such as a pharmaceutical company, university, clinical research organization CRO or clinical sites; 3 years of experience working with a crossfunctional team including statistics or bioinformatics, scientists, clinical, andor product strategy team members, or similar; 3 years of experience managing the daytoday activities of an RD team through the management of lab activities including planning and scheduling multiple studies, and reviewing data and reports; Ability to make original and novel scientific discoveries as demonstrated by having authoredcoauthored a minimum of five publications related to biomarker development, cell signaling, molecular biology, or disease biology in a peerreviewed scientific journals may be gained during or following Ph.D. studies, or alternatively, 5 years of experience delivering original scientific work which resulted in the launch of a product in the field of biomarker development, cell signaling, molecular biology, or disease biology.br br None of these skills can be acquired within a reasonable period of onthejob training.
