We require foreign language teachers who are exceptionally wellversed in the language and culture of designated areas of strategic geopolitical importance to the United States.Successful applicants must have the ability to teach our student body of active duty U.S. military members and federal civilian employees to a high level of proficiency in the target language. Therefore, near native language proficiency in the specific target language is required.br br DLIFLCs home base is at the Presidio of Monterey, CA, with a Continuing Education Directorate CED facility located near the Presidio, at Ord Military Community in Seaside, CA, as well as more than two dozen Language Training Detachments LTD sites located throughout the U.S. to include Offutt AFB LTD in Nebraska and abroad. Instructors at these locations are by and large from DLIFLCs Monterey home base. Work location is at DLIFLC Language Training Detachment facility located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
