The position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Design, Product Development or related field and seven 7 years of experience as Commercial andor Industrial Designer or related occupation, or in the alternative, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Design, Product Development or related field and five 5 years of experience as Commercial andor Industrial Designer or related occupation. The position also requires five 5 years of experience with the following commercial aircraft interior seating product design and development; configuration of commercial aircraft layout, including business and economy class seating, galleys and lavatories, to meet specifications required by FAA Part 25, Boeing D6 and Airbus 2520 requirements; LOPA Location of Passenger Accommodation design for commercial aircrafts; development of seating products for aircrafts using AutoCAD, Catia V5 and V6, and Adobe Creative Suite software and patent applications; photorealistic rendering and animation of aircraft cabin interiors using Solidworks Visualize; development of aircraft mechanical design and engineering practices, OEMs seating design specifications and aircraft CMF Color, Material, Finish specifications in compliance with FAA regulations; and sketching and communication of design concepts to design and manufacturing engineers and presenting design concepts to upper level stakeholders. Up to 20 of national and international travel is required.br br Per 20 CFR 656.17h4, employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
